Meeting Notice: Third Community Advisory Committee Meeting

On Monday, October 7, 2019, at 6:30 pm I will convene a meeting with our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) members. This meeting will be streamed live for public viewing (click here to watch the meeting) and be accessible by phone at toll-free number 888-475-4499 and by entering passcode 269-000-305 for all who are interested to listen in. In this meeting, I will provide an update about the work of the Monitorship to date and briefly discuss our upcoming Second Quarterly Report, which will be made public in October of 2019. For those who are unable to watch the meeting live or listen in by phone, the transcript and the audio recording of this meeting will be available on our website.

In addition, we will be holding a community meeting with residents, community groups, elected officials and other stakeholders on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 6:00 pm at the West Brighton Community Center, 230 Broadway, Staten Island. You can view the Public Notice in English and in Spanish. We invite everyone who has information that can assist the Monitor with improving the physical conditions at NYCHA regarding mold, heat and hot water, lead paint, elevators, waste management and pests, to attend and sign up to speak.
