Community Advisory Committee – December 2020

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) held its eighth meeting on Thursday, December 3, 2020 via a virtual platform. Federal Monitor, Bart M. Schwartz, and the monitoring team’s Resident Engagement Team Leader, Asha Muldro, hosted the meeting which was viewed by over 100 people via a live stream.

A key focus of the meeting was the high-level overview presented of the Transformation Plan by NYCHA. Throughout the meeting, Mr. Schwartz, Ms. Muldro and NYCHA representatives emphasized the importance of stakeholder and resident input to ensure the success of its implementation and strongly encouraged all attendees to read the Transformation Plan and send any comments or questions by December 28, 2020.

This was the last CAC meeting of 2020. The CAC will continue to meet regularly in 2021 and will be rotating the representatives of tenant association presidents who serve on the CAC. If you have any suggestions for committee members, please email the Monitor.
