On Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 pm, I will convene the next in our series of Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings. It will be streamed live on YouTube and accessible by phone at 646-876-9923, passcode 522-826-675.
CAC meetings continue to provide critical insights to the monitor team and to NYCHA as we work in collaboration on Action Plans and to reform its organizational structure. At this meeting, our CAC members will provide an update on their work, followed by a discussion. If you are not able to watch the meeting live, the link to the video will be made available on our website.
As part of our work to solicit feedback from the stakeholders, on the CAC, we will be holding a Community Meeting with residents, community members and other stakeholders on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Melrose Community Center in the Bronx (see the public notice in English and Spanish). We invite residents and community members to sign up to speak and we look forward to seeing you there.
If you have not already, please review NYCHA’s Elevator Action Plan I approved last week which includes a detailed step-by-step response plan for all elevator outages and no-service conditions, with the goal of reducing their frequency and duration of the outages. This week, we will release our Third Quarterly Report about our work from October through December 2019, which will be made available on our website.
Very truly yours,
Bart M. Schwartz
