March 19, 2020
On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, I will convene the Sixth Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting which will be held via a conference call, as opposed to an in-person meeting, with the CAC members. We have made this decision to help ensure our employees and CAC members’ health and safety while continuing to do our work and keeping the residents and other stakeholders informed of our work. To that end, the Sixth CAC meeting will be recorded and then made available to the public on our website and the YouTube channel.
Over the course of the last month, the Monitor team and CAC members have held calls and discussed our work in collaboration with NYCHA to fulfill the requirements set forth in the January 31st Agreement. As is the case with our previous meetings, our CAC members will provide an update on their work, followed by a discussion.
We are continuing to work with NYCHA on their Action Plans to address pest and waste management, mold, and lead-based paint. Please check our website for updates on the aforementioned, as well as the upcoming Fourth Quarterly Report, which will be released in April and cover our work from January 1, 2020 through March 31, 2020.
Very truly yours,
Bart M. Schwartz
